ABILENE, TX, JUNE 21, 2012: For the third year in a row, Lauren Engineers & Constructors (Lauren) has received the WSO Concerned Company/Corporation Award in recognition of Lauren’s industry-leading safety program.
According to the WSO’s website, selection is based on the following criteria: a company or corporation who is actively (and above average in) contributing to protection of people, property, resources and the environment through innovative programs, and shows distinctive concern for the well-being of its employees and local community.
The World Safety Organization Concerned Company/Corporation Award is a highly competitive award, with only six Awards granted annually.
Awards will be presented in Las Vegas at The WSO Awards Banquet, which will be held on July 30, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the World Safety Organization’s 25th International Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health Professional Development Conference.
The award provides validation of Lauren’s place as one of the safest contractors in the industry, as evidenced by the fact that the company has logged more than 7.5 million hours since the last lost time injury.
