ABILENE, TX, October 1, 2012: Mr. Ron Johnson recently joined Lauren as Executive Vice President of Power Generation. He will be responsible for expanding Lauren’s efforts in the Power Generation sector and the timely delivery of quality projects for Lauren’s Customers.
Mr. Johnson has more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry, holding an assortment of management positions at both the project site level and in the corporate office. He has worked on a variety of projects covering a broad spectrum of fuel, including coal, oil, gas simple cycle, combined cycle, solar, biomass, waste fuel, and other renewables.
Mr. Johnson previously held the position of Vice President of Projects for Lauren and served as a Director in the Engineering and Construction Division for NextEra Energy. In his varying roles, Mr. Johnson has maintained a focus on safety in the workplace and continuous improvement for the industry.
Mr. Johnson attended Clemson University and is active in his church and community services, volunteering time and resources wherever needed.
