ABILENE, TX, August 30, 2012: Lauren Engineers and Constructors recently reached a remarkable milestone of five years with no recordable injuries at the Nuclear Fuel Services site in Erwin, TN. Employees at the site have worked 390,651 hours to date without a single incident resulting in a recordable injury.

In addition to this landmark achievement, Lauren’s employees at NFS have also earned a Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence from TOSHA for outstanding safety practices. The employees were recognized for their newest safety accomplishment at a luncheon on August 29 in Erwin, TN.

“Lauren’s commitment to safety is firmly embraced throughout every facet of the organization and every jobsite, as reflected in this safety achievement, said Todd Meek, Corporate Safety Director for Lauren. “The team at NFS has shown an unswerving commitment to safety every day for five years and we are extremely proud and appreciative of their hard work.”
