ABILENE, TX – February 9, 2012– Lauren has been contracted by BAE Systems to provide EPC services for the U.S. Army’s Radford Ammunition Modernization Project, located in Radford, VA.
Specific scope includes the engineering, procurement and construction for a five-building chemical plant with various building types, including structural steel, concrete and pre-engineered. Scope includes both batch and continuous process with modern PLC controls throughout. Project includes incoming raw material warehousing, and shipping and handling warehousing. Process includes tanks, heat exchangers, agitation and fluid classification technology.
