Lauren Engineers & Constructors has been recognized for their uncompromising effort in Safety. The company has been awarded several awards this summer highlighting this work. These awards include: STEP Platinum Safety Award from ABC, Safety Excellence Award from ABC, Concerned Company of the Year Award from the World Safety Organization and the Educational Safety Award from the World Safety Organization.
The STEP Platinum Award is a national award that allows LEC to compete with all other Platinum Award winners across the country for the ABC National Safety Excellence Award. This also means Lauren is eligible to compete for the first ever, invitation only ABC Diamond STEP Award. The 2010 Safety Award of Excellence for the State of Georgia acknowledges Lauren’s exceptional safety performance for 2009. The World Safety Organization awarded Lauren with the Concerned Company of the Year Award because of their “excellent safety program, safety record and their safety programs on off-the-job safety”, as well as the Educational Safety Award for their above average safety program of educational nature in the fields of safety, environment, public safety, healthcare safety, and transportation safety.
